Description
American Hammer is proud to be the largest and oldest producer of the only 100% USA made industrial hammer line in the world. Brass hammer heads provide a soft, yet durable non-marring, spark resistance striking surface used to machine metal and other parts in flammable environments. They are commonly used in the automotive and aviation industries. Brass hammers should always be used in the place of steel hammers in any metalworking application. It is the most durable material we offer and should be used on surfaces that can withstand marring or on surfaces that will require further machining. Machinists – when working with metal, (moving, adjusting, assembling, breaking it free from a rusted state or simply from a pressed fit) you know it’s important to protect the surface finish or shape from damage.
Ideal for Tool & Die, Stamping, Gear Cutting, Screw Machine, Fastener Manufacturing, Machine Shops, Bearing Manufacturing, Plastic Molding, Agriculture Implements, Metal Fabrication, Pneumatic Cylinder Manufacturing, Steel Mill and General Repair. Auto Repair – High-end aftermarket parts and accessories are expensive. Don’t damage them or your vehicle during installation! MRO – Our hammers perform excellently when used in the repair of sensitive equipment. Great for industries such as Agriculture, Construction Equipment, Electric Motor service and more.
Wood Grip – MADE FROM LIGHTWEIGHT HIGH-QUALITY HICKORY. For our wood handle option, we found a mill deep in the hickory forest of Eastern Tennessee. Hickory wood is perfect for a striking tool with just enough ‘give’ to absorb minimal reflection in order to prevent cracking. Perfect to carry around the shop. Our sand textured grip makes for a nice firm feel and quite reliable for occasional use.
