Description
3 Phase Electric Motor. Standard duplex package comes complete with two compressors, two electric motors, tank and UL-listed alternator control panel mounted and wired. American-made cast iron Two-Stage Reciprocating Compressor Pump (#PL-9000 Pressure Lubricated Pumps). Electric Motors are nationally known brands having dual voltage; drip-proof type; includes multiple belts and V-drive sheaves; runs @ 1800 rpm. Air Tanks have 200 psi Working Pressure; Tank Drains and Service Valves.
Compressor Pumps include Centrifugal Unloader, Oil Sight Gauge, flywheel with V-Grooves, and an intake filter/silencer. Start/Stop Controls have the pressure switch set @ 145-175 psi. Air Gauge has a 0-300 psi range. Safety Valves are ASME Approved. UL-approved Alternator Control Panel has a magnetic starter. All units are painted and shipped with oil in the crankcase; all units are tested and inspected at the factory before shipment. High temperature environments, high duty-cycle service, and applications where other forms of lubrication are unacceptable indicate the need for pressure lubricated systems.
The design of Saylor-Beall’s pressure lubricated air compressors is especially well suited for industrial environments where extreme operating conditions demand excellence in air compressor design and quality. A gear type rotary oil pump mounted at the end of the crankshaft, coupled with rifle drilled crankshaft and connecting rods provide pressurized oil flow to the parts of the compressor that most need lubrication—the crankshaft, connecting rods and piston pins.
