Please see the Wright Tool Catalog for more details. WHY USE A TORQUE MULTIPLIER? A torque multiplier is used to reduce the effort needed to tighten or loosen a fastener. By using a torque multiplier, thousands of foot pounds of torque can be accurately applied with a standard 250 foot pound torque wrench. Wright Tool offers a complete line torque multipliers. These tools offer a simple, inexpensive solution to common bolting challenges.
Our multipliers ranging in output torque from 750 ft. lbs. to 8,000 ft. lbs. typically require a maximum input torque of only 200 ft. lbs. or less. All of our tools can be operated with any standard torque wrench and will “multiply” the torque to achieve significantly higher torque outputs. We offer both reaction bar multipliers, which will typically react against a flange, as well as reaction plate multipliers designed to react against an adjacent bolt. Safe, Light—Our unique one-piece construction requires use of just one tool. A single tool is easier to handle and safer to operate vs. stacking a number of multipliers. Single piece construction also makes the package smaller and lighter.
Accurate—Use of needle roller bearings produces more efficient and repeatable output torque (all except 9S290P, 9S291 and 9S292). All models except the 9S292 have a torque accuracy of +/-5%.
Fast—Our input torque holding ratchet assists in holding our multiplier in place while applying torque to fastener, making fastening safer and faster. This feature is standard on all models except 9S290P, 9S291, 9S292 and 9S391.
Easy To Use—Our low input torque requirement makes our tools easy to use. Most tools require less than 200 ft. lbs. input to obtain the multipliers maximum output torque.

Simple—A torque conversion chart is attached directly on top of each tool to show the operator the torque input required for a given torque output.
Precise—An angle of turn protractor included on our 9S391, 9S392 and 9S393 models allows the user to use torque/angle of turn method to tighten fasteners more accurately.
